Embedded vision system designed for machine vision, edge AI applications.

IMAGO Technologies recently launched a new smart area scan camera, the Vision Cam XM2. The camera is equipped with a monochrome 5 MPixel, 2560 x 2048 resolution CMOS global shutter sensor with a 5.0 µm pixel size. The camera provides a frame rate of 165 fps in full resolution and 1400 fps in VGA resolution. It has  6 NVIDIA 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 CPUs,1024 core GPUs, and 32 tensor cores that allow it to carry out complex calculations on the camera itself.  It has serial and GigE interface and uses C-mount lenses.

The camera, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin module, is an embedded vision system designed for machine vision,  edge AI, and other applications that require multi-core ARM and GPU processing power, especially high-speed inspection processes.
