July 3, 2023
Global shutter image sensor designed for automotive applications

OMNIVISION has launched the OX01H1B, a 1.5 MPixel global shutter mono sensor for driver monitoring systems. The sensor features a  2.2 µm pixel size as well as NIR quantum efficiency rated at 36%. It is designed for low-light performance in tight camera spaces and can perform simultaneous image detection in all pixels to accurately reproduce rapid motion without deformation. It has integrated industry standard ASIL-B and cybersecurity and is also available in a reconstructed wafer option for designers that want to customize their own package. The OX01H1B features 1.5MPixel resolution in a 1/4.51-inch optical format and can operate in temperatures from -40° - 125°C. OMNIVISION has also launched the OX02C1S image sensor; read Vision Systems Design's story here.
