Sony has launched a new camera, the ILX-LR1. Designed specifically for a wide array of industrial applications such as automated inspections, mapping, and more, it is an interchangeable lens camera compatible with a wide range of E-mount lenses. It has a still image resolution of up to 61 MPixels and a video resolution of up to 50.8 MPixels. It is equipped with a 35mm full-frame, back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, mechanical shutter/electronic shutter, and Superspeed USB-S 5Gbps interface that is USB 3.2 compatible. It has a 100 x 74 x 42.5 mm footprint, weighs 243g, and operates in temperatures from 0° - 40° C and can be used in drones and in other remote automated vision situations.
