Longwave Infrared Thermal Cameras Launched

The cameras are suitable for unmanned aircraft systems, wearables, security applications, and handhelds.

Teledyne FLIR added 24 new models to its Boston+ longwave infrared (LWIR) thermal product line. The new cameras have a resolution of 320 x 256 and utilize a 12-μm pixel pitch thermal detector within a size, weight, and power (SWaP) optimized package. Radiometry (the ability to take the temperature of every pixel) is available on all models. Compatible with USB, CMOS, or MIPI video interfaces, the camera models work with a range of integrated processors. The cameras are suitable for unmanned aircraft systems, wearables, security applications, and handhelds. Rugged construction and operating temperature rating of -40°C to 80°C.
