Tamron Launches Three New Lenses

The optical (image) deflection is limited to less than 10 μm under vibrations and shocks of a maximum of 10 G of magnitude.

Tamron announces the launch of three new models of an industry-standard 29 mm compact-size fixed-focal lens for machine vision, compatible with 2/3” imagers, supporting 2.74-μm pixel pitch and 8-MPixel high resolution. The models are the MA23F12V (12 mm), MA23F16V (16 mm), and MA23F50V (50 mm), expanding the number of currently available lenses in the MA23F series to six. The C-mount lenses provide focal lengths of 8mm F/2.4, 12mm F/2.4, 16mm F/2.4, 25mm F/2.4, 35mm F/2.4, and 50mm F/2.8. The optical (image) deflection is limited to less than 10 μm under vibrations and shocks of a maximum of 10 G of magnitude. A lock-screw that comes with the models can be replaced with an embedding-type setscrew, reducing the overall diameter of the lens barrel for compact installation.
