Smart 3D camera series features NIVIDIA Tegra K1 processors

The rc_visard family of cameras is designed for robotic applications.

Developed in partnership with Roboception GmbH, the rc_visard 1.2 MPixel smart 3D camera series includes the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and is designed for stationary and mobile robots and to support applications such as bin picking and navigating driverless transport systems.

Two base distances, 65 and 160 mm, and two different focal lengths, 4 and 6 mm are available, with the ability to measure up to 1.2 million 3D data points. Point clouds can be generated at up to 25 Hz, subject to resolution. The camera offers GigE interface, 5G vibration and 50G shock protection, and an operating temperature of 0 to 50° C.
