Artificial intelligence software developer Neurala and machine vision camera developer FLIR have announced a partnership to run neural networks directly on FLIR Firefly DL cameras.
The collaboration allows for the construction of deep learning models, using Neurala’s Brain Builder software on the VIA platform, that may be uploaded directly to the Firefly DL camera using the FLIR Spinmaker SDK. According to the companies, the intent is to simplify the deployment of smart cameras running AI for Industry 4.0 edge applications.
