The mvBlueCOUGAR-XT camera series features 10 GigE interface, Sony Pregius S Gen4 global shutter backside illuminated CMOS image sensors, and 1254 Mbps throughput. An integrated 2048 MB frame buffer is designed to improve data stability.

Three models have been announced, based on the IMX530 sensor (50.5 fps at 24.6 MPixel resolution), IMX531 sensor (60.9 fps at 20.4 MPixel resolution), and IMX532 sensor (76.5 fps at 16.2 MPixel resolution). Each image sensor features 2.74 µm pixel size.

The cameras also feature IP67 housings, industrial plug connections, compatibility with GenICam and GigE Vision standards, PoE, and offer drivers for Windows and Linux.
