July 1, 2020
A quad-pixel binning HDR function outputs several images with different exposure times overlapping on the monochrome version.

Sony’s IMX492 CMOS image sensor, available through distributor FRAMOS, targets surveillance camera and factory automation applications. The sensor outputs 47 MPixel images with 2.315 µm pixels, is available in either color or monochrome, and runs up to 24 fps in 10-bit over the SLVS-EC interface or 13.7 fps with MIPI CSI-2.

A quad-pixel binning HDR function outputs several images with different exposure times overlapping on the monochrome version. The sensor supports both SLVS-EC with up to 8 serial data output or SI-2 with 2 or 4 serial data output per channel. Evaluation samples are available with production beginning in Q3 2020.
