Second generation scientific InGaAs camera features reduced weight

Princeton Infrared Technologies has introduced the second generation of the 1280SciCAM, an InGasAs SWIR camera with 1280 x 1024 resolution and up to 95 fps full frame capture. The second gen camera weights 3000 g, a reduction from the initial release.

Featuring 12 µm pixels and Camera Link interface, the 1280SciCAM is sensitive in the 0.4 to 1.7 µm wavelength range, has temperature set points of -20° C, -40° C (fan cooling), and -60° C (water cooled), and provides 14-bit digital output with <45e- read noise.

Orders are now being taken for August 2020 delivery. Lens adapters for microscope and telescope integration are available.
