Uncooled thermal camera platform offers small VGA IR core

Sept. 29, 2021
The MicroCalibir is designed for OEM drones, handhelds, and helmet-mounted and vehicular integration applications.

The MicroCalibir uncooled thermal camera platform features 12 µm microbolometer pixel technology with a deep-ADC ROIC circuit that results in a 1000° C intra-scene temperature range at a sub-50mK NETD. The camera can reach sub-30mK, NETD levels through advanced, user selectable noise filtering algorithms.

MicroCalibir cores are available in 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 resolutions, capture 30/60 fps, have an operating temperature of -40° C to 80° C, a variety of lens options ranging from ~10 to 90 degree horizontal field of view, and interface options include USB2, CSI2, and UART. They have a 21 x 21 mm without shutter and lens mount.
