The camera is designed to combine CMOS performance and CCD image quality.

The allPIXA evo 8K line-scan color camera features a CMOS sensor with 16 lines of 8K resolution and 5 µm pixel size. Each line may be controlled independently and operated simultaneously to capture RGB images, with filters expanding sensitivity into the NIR range, at up to 3 x 90 kHz rate.

10 GigE and USB2.0 interfaces are supplemented by optical fiber connections to support cable lengths up to 300 m. The camera is GigE Vision 2.0 compliant, has an operating temperature of 0 to 60° C, a 102 x 78 x 82 mm footprint, and is equipped with an M72 x 0.75 mm lens mount. It includes a graphical tool and an SDK for control and image capture, with support for Windows and Linux platforms.
