Multi-sensor system supports two cameras with variable lenses

The AVX550 Multi-Sensor Vision System is equipped with two cameras, one primary camera with a 12:1 zoom lens with 26x to 310x magnification range up to 2 µ resolution, and a secondary camera with fixed magnification telecentric lens, with magnification options between 0.14x and 4.0x. The cameras are designed to be used sequentially in the same program along with touch probe options.

The system also features dual collimated profile lights, the M3 software package from MetLogix, mouse and touchscreen monitor, auto part recognition, and programmable light output options. A superimage function can combine multiple camera frames into a single image. The AVX550 is also designed to support a Renishaw touch probe.
