New additions to the FS Series GigE vision line scan camera series from Omron Automation Americas feature 2K, 4K, or 8K resolutions and include single-line monochrome and dual-line monochrome and color formats. The new cameras also feature Power over Ethernet and precision time protocol (PTP) functionality that enables precise multi-camera triggering with low latency. F-Mount, C-Mount, and M42-Mount lens configurations are available.
According to the manufacturer, the new cameras are designed with optical scanning, waterfall sorting, web and print inspection, flat panel inspection, and pick-and-place applications in mind.
