VIP (Vision Inspection Pack) software license extends the photometric measurement capabilities of True Test Automated Visual Inspection Software. It adds machine vision-based registration functionality for defect detection and light and color measurement of illuminated icons, text, and shapes, including backlit symbols.
Meeting MIL-DTL-7788 and FMVSS 111 standards, comprehensive photometric and colorimetric data for light source metrology includes luminance, CIE chromaticity coordinates, L*a*b color scale, correlated color temperature, and dominant wavelength. The software applies registration regions and POI locations for each symbol, even if components, and can simultaneously inspect the integrity of icons and shapes while measuring photometric values.
